The aim of RMIF: VCA was to assess how the VCA methodology could be used to identify opportunities for improvement in the UK red meat industry in order to help it become more globally competitive (2002 to 2005)

Food Process Innovation Unit

Formed in 2002, the Food Process Innovation Unit aimed to be the leading centre for research into the design and improvement of business processes within the food industry, and sought to identify how process-centric approaches can help in creating radical improvements in the sector.
